Up Tyrone & Down Armagh Polkas... the first three polkas (lively dance tunes) have their origins in the south west of Ireland, the second of which is called Magic Slipper. The last one is a version of the common tune the Camptown Races but has been used as the melody for many a football/ hurling song e.g. 'Up Tyrone and down Armagh, doo dah, doo dah...' (Thanks Leo!!) |
